This Refund Policy explains how returns, refunds, exchanges, and cancellations are handled at Kawaii Stop. It is incorporated into our Terms of Service. By placing an order, you agree to the conditions below.

We aim to be clear and consistent while protecting against fraud, abuse, and operational loss.

Delivery Confirmation and Fulfillment

Delivery is considered complete when the carrier marks the shipment as “Delivered” (or equivalent) to the address provided at checkout.

Once marked “Delivered,” the order is considered fulfilled.

If shipping protection (e.g., Kawaii Shield) was purchased, coverage is subject to the protection provider’s claim terms and eligibility requirements.


Return Window

Return requests must be submitted within 14 days of the delivery date, as confirmed by the carrier’s delivery scan.

Requests submitted after this period are not eligible for return, refund, or exchange.


Item Condition Requirements

Returned items must be:

  • Unworn and unwashed

  • Free of damage, odors, or alterations

  • With original tags attached

  • In original packaging

All returns are inspected upon receipt. Items not meeting these conditions may be denied or partially refunded at our discretion.


Return Authorization (RMA Process)

  1. Submit a return request through your customer account.

  2. If approved, ship the item within 14 days of RMA approval using a trackable shipping service.

  3. Retain tracking documentation until the return is processed.

Returns sent without approval, shipped after the RMA expiration date, or sent without tracking may be rejected.

RMA approval does not guarantee a refund. All returns must comply with this policy.

If a return is received after the RMA has expired, it is considered unauthorized. You may request the item be shipped back at your expense. If return shipping is not requested within 14 days of notification, the item may be discarded or liquidated.


Return Shipping Responsibility

Return shipping costs are the customer’s responsibility unless:

  • The return is due to our verified error (damaged, defective, or incorrect item), or

  • The order is approved under Kawaii Shield coverage


Refund Options

Store Credit (Recommended)

  • 100% of the returned item value

  • No restocking or processing fees

  • Original outbound shipping is non-refundable

  • Purchases made with store credit are final sale

Refund to Original Payment Method

Refund amount = Item value minus a 20% restocking and processing fee

The restocking and processing fee covers:

  • Non-recoverable payment processing costs

  • Fraud screening expenses

  • Administrative and handling costs incurred when the order was placed and returned

Additional notes:

  • Original shipping charges are non-refundable

  • For orders with free shipping, a standard outbound shipping cost of $4.99 will be deducted

  • Customs duties, taxes, import fees, and shipping protection fees are non-refundable

Eligible VIP loyalty members may qualify for reduced or waived restocking fees.


Refund Processing Time

Approved refunds are typically processed within 3–7 business days after inspection. Processing time may vary depending on your payment provider.


Exchanges

We do not process direct exchanges.

If eligible, please return the original item and place a new order for the preferred size or color.


Damaged, Defective, or Incorrect Items

If we made an error, contact us within 4 days of delivery with clear photographic or video evidence.

Once verified, we will provide a prepaid return label and issue a replacement or full refund, including shipping.

For orders protected by Kawaii Shield, claim handling follows the protection provider’s coverage terms and deadlines.


Cancellations

Orders may be canceled within 1 hour of purchase for a full refund.

After 1 hour, orders may be eligible for cancellation prior to fulfillment, subject to a non-refundable processing fee.

Processing fee: the greater of $10 or 5% of the item subtotal, capped at $25.

Original shipping charges, customs duties, taxes, and optional services (including Kawaii Shield) are non-refundable.

Once an order has entered fulfillment, production, or shipment, cancellation is no longer possible.

Orders canceled due to inventory or fulfillment errors on our end are refunded in full.


Customs Duties and Refused Deliveries

Customs duties, import taxes, and related fees are the responsibility of the customer.

If a package is refused due to unpaid customs or import fees, the order may be considered forfeited and is not eligible for refund.


Incorrect or Incomplete Addresses

Customers are responsible for providing accurate shipping information.

If a package is returned due to an incorrect or incomplete address:

  • A $4.99 reshipping fee applies once returned to us

  • If the logistics provider discards the package instead of returning it, the order is considered fulfilled and not eligible for refund or replacement


Final Sale Items

For hygiene, safety, or custom production reasons, the following categories are final sale and not eligible for return or refund:

Adult Games, Beauty & Health Products, Bras, Children’s/Kids Clothing, Cosmetics, Cosplays/Costumes, Essential Oils, Gift Cards, Headwear, Intimates, Leggings, Lolita Dresses, Panties, Sexy Lingerie, Sexy Products, Skin Care, Swimsuits, Shoes, Figurines, Pre-Orders/Pre-Sales/Deposits, Reflective Clothing, Wall Scrolls, Wulfgar Props, Made-to-Order Items.

Product pages may also indicate non-returnable status prior to purchase.


Shipping Delays and Minor Variations

  • Minor color differences due to screen settings

  • Size variations within ±1–3 cm

  • Carrier delays

  • Customs delays

do not constitute defects and are not eligible for refund.


Chargebacks and Dispute Resolution

By completing a purchase, you agree to contact us first to attempt resolution before initiating a chargeback.

We reserve the right to submit order records, tracking confirmations, delivery scans, communications, and related documentation to payment processors and financial institutions to respond to disputes.
