At Kawaii Stop, we strive to ensure your satisfaction with every purchase. To support you, we offer a clear and customer-friendly return policy, enhanced by the optional Kawaii Shield for added peace of mind.

General Return Policy

Return Window: You may initiate a return within 14 days from the date of delivery through your account.

Eligibility Criteria:

  • Returns must be initiated directly from your account with all required details completed accurately to avoid delays.
  • Items must be in original, unused condition and packaged in their original packaging.
  • Certain items, such as swimwear, lingerie, leggings, health and beauty products, cosplays, clearance items, and products labeled as non-returnable, are not eligible for returns or refunds (see full list below).

Return Process:

  1. Log in to your account and locate the order for the item(s) you wish to return.
  2. Initiate the return process and provide the required information.
  3. Confirm product eligibility for return.
  4. Ship the item(s) back to us using a reliable carrier. Return shipping is the customer's responsibility.

Refund Options

Upon receiving and inspecting the returned item(s), we offer:

  • Refund to the original payment method, minus any applicable fees.
  • Gift card or discount code to Kawaii Stop, excluding fees.

20% Restocking Fee

Eligible returns are subject to a 20% restocking fee and the following non-refundable fees:

  • Original shipping costs (for orders with free shipping, a $3.99 flat fee will be deducted).
  • Import duties, customs fees, and Kawaii Shield coverage fees.

Non-Returnable Items

The following items cannot be returned or refunded for hygiene and quality assurance reasons, especially if made-to-order:

  • Cosmetics
  • Cosplays/Costumes
  • Essential Oils & Aromatherapy Products
  • Headwear (Beanies, Hats, Etc.)

Kawaii Shield Coverage

By adding Kawaii Shield to your order, you’re protecting your purchase from unexpected issues such as:

  • Lost Packages: Covers orders lost in transit.
  • Stolen Packages: Covers stolen items, including "porch piracy."
  • Damaged Goods: Covers severely damaged items.

Claims for Kawaii Shield must be filed within the following timeframes:

  • Lost Packages: File within 30 days (domestic) or 60 days (international) of shipping.
  • Stolen Packages: File within 7 days of the carrier marking the item as delivered.
  • Damaged Goods: File within 7 days of delivery.

Damages or Incorrect Item Sent (Without Kawaii Shield)

If Kawaii Stop is at fault, we’ll provide a return label and follow our standard return process. Claims must be made within 4 days of delivery by emailing contact@kawaiistop.com with photos or videos of the item and packaging. For orders with Kawaii Shield, file your claim directly through Kawaii Stop Support.

Customer Mistakes

Size/Color: Items ordered in the wrong size or color can be exchanged only if they are unwashed, unworn, and in original condition. Return the incorrect item and place a new order for the correct one.
Address Errors: We are not responsible for undeliverable or incorrect addresses provided by the customer. No refunds will be issued in these cases.

Refunds for Minor Differences

Refunds are not provided for:

  • Minor color variations or differences in size (1-3 cm).
  • Delays due to shipping or customs.
  • Items received late or changes of mind.

For added peace of mind, we recommend adding Kawaii Shield to your order at checkout.

Lost or Stolen Packages (Without Kawaii Shield)

Kawaii Stop does not provide refunds or replacements for items marked as delivered by the carrier but claimed to be lost or stolen. To protect against these situations, we recommend purchasing Kawaii Shield during checkout.

Additional Information

RMA (Return Merchandise Authorization): Returns must be initiated within 14 days of delivery. Once an RMA is approved, items must be shipped back within 14 days. Failure to meet these timelines will void the return eligibility.

Replacement Shipments: To receive a replacement quickly, place a new order for the correct item. Refunds for returned items will be processed once inspected, minus applicable fees.
